Paramount Studios General Lot Rules for Tour Guests

All Paramount Studio Tour guests are required to abide by Paramount’s rules, procedures, oral instructions, requirements and posted signs as from time to time adopted by Paramount (including those related to security and identification procedures), and to comply with all applicable laws, regulations and governmental orders. The rules are subject to change at any time in Paramount’s discretion.

Entry to Paramount’s premises constitutes acceptance of all lot rules and your agreement to comply with them, including without limitation, the following:


1. Tour guests must be at least 10 years of age or older. No minors are permitted on Paramount’s premises without being accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

2. Tour guests are not permitted to bring pets or animals with them onto Paramount’s premises. Duly qualified Assistance Animals may be permitted on the premises with advance notice and prior coordination as permitted by law.

3. Tour guests must be accompanied by your Studio Tour “host/guide” at all times.

4. Tour guests must act in a lawful, courteous and cooperative manner at all times. No violent, aggressive, or threatening behavior of any type will be permitted.

5. Except where indicated that photos are permissible by a Tour guide, and then only for each Studio Tour guest’s own personal, non-commercial uses, no photographs, videos or other image capture is permitted on the Studio lot. Tour guests are not permitted to posses or use drones or remote-controlled devices (aerial or ground) on Paramount’s premises.

6. No Paramount facilities, locations, services or equipment may be accessed or used for any unlawful purpose or activity. Tour guests only permitted to access and enter facilities and locations on Paramount’s premises with a Tour guide. Access to any other facilities or areas of the studio lot is prohibited.

7. No smoking (including pipes, electronic and vapor tobacco products and devices) is permitted within any Paramount facilities or within twenty-five (25) feet of building entrances, in any public areas, or on Paramount’s New York Street backlot area. No marijuana smoking is permitted anywhere on Paramount’s premises. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the premises by Studio Tour Guests.

8. When access is feasible, rideshare pick-up is available at the Melrose Gate at 5555 Melrose Ave and the Bronson Gate at 5353 Melrose Ave. Please wait in the designated pick-up areas.

9. Studio Tour parking is available in the visitor lot for $20. Parking is permitted in designated parking spaces and areas only.

10. All guests entering the lot agree to maintain appropriate sound levels so as not to interfere, hinder or impede motion picture, television or other production-related activities and/or Paramount’s general business operations or cause a nuisance to the surrounding neighborhood or businesses.

11. No bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, scooters or similar equipment, including but not limited to electric bicycles and other motorized or non-motorized personal transport devices, may be brought onto or used on Paramount’s premises (other than those necessary for mobility for those with disabilities). The playing of recreational sports, roller sports, yard games or similar activities is prohibited (including in green/grassy areas).

12. No political activities, rallies, protests or similar activities are permitted on Paramount’s studio lot. Studio guests are not permitted to wear or display graphic or visual material or items that are targeted at or against any particular person or group, or that could be considered inflammatory, demeaning, or obscene.

13. It is not permitted to disable, mask, tamper with, cover or otherwise obstruct or modify any safety devices (such as but not limited to fire hydrants, emergency lights, surge protectors, smoke or fire detectors or alarms, etc.).

14. Chemicals, products or substances of any type (other than tap water) are not permitted to be released into any sink, toilet, sewer drain, or emptied onto the ground. Use provided trash receptacles for all waste. No materials, substances or liquids of any type (including tap water) may be dumped or discharged into any storm drains. No hazardous materials of any kind are permitted by guests to the lot.

15. Paramount’s premises consist of buildings and facilities of various types and ages. Asbestos and/or lead containing materials (including paint) are known to be present in certain Paramount facilities.

16. Any use of Paramount’s wi-fi service is subject to the information systems terms of use located at https://www.paramount.com/paramount-studios-facilities-business-to-business-terms-of-use and the privacy policy located at https://privacy.paramount.com/en/policy

17. Security cameras are in use on the premises.

18. Any injuries, accidents, thefts, suspicious occurrences and/or incidents on Paramount’s premises must be reported immediately to Paramount’s Security Department at (323) 956-5155.

A failure to comply with any of the foregoing may result in removal from and/or being barred from future entries to the premises and/or legal action as permitted by law.

Assumption of Risk/Waiver/Limitation on Damages

By purchasing tickets to or participating in the Paramount Studio Tour, each Tour Guest agrees that:

(i) No Paramount-related entities or persons are or will be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever that result from your use or inability to use the Tickets or to attend the Tour, regardless of the cause of such inability. If your tour is canceled by Paramount, it will be rescheduled or you will be refunded your ticket prices.

(ii) there are inherent dangers and risks from being on a working motion picture studio lot, and all Studio Tour guests acknowledge and accept such risks and agree to participate in the Paramount Studio Tour and related activities at their own risk.

(iii) Each Studio Tour Guest, to the fullest extent permitted by law, releases all Paramount-related entities and persons from any and all claims, losses or damages of every kind and nature whatsoever, including bodily or personal injury or death, and/or property damage or loss, arising from or in connection with the Studio Tour. Parents and/or legal guardians hereby consent to their dependent’s participation in accordance with these Terms.

Limitation of Liability, Applicability of Disclaimers, Exclusions and Limits

IN NO EVENT WILL PARAMOUNT’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL REASONS AND/OR CLAIMS IN CONNECTION WITH THE PURCHASE OF TICKETS, THE STUDIO TOUR, YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE TOUR, OR YOUR PRESENCE ON THE PARAMOUNT STUDIO LOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE STUDIO TOUR TICKETS.
